Last night's dethroning of Robbie Lawler by new welterweight champion Tyron Woodley wasn't the only shocking knockout from last night's UFC 201 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Surging Ukranian light heavyweight prospect Nikita Krylov ran through overmatched UFC veteran Ed Herman and dispatched the former Ultimate Fighter contestant with a second round knockout to make it four straight wins inside the distance.
Ouch.
A step up in competition is surely next for the incredibly dangerous Krylov, a fighter who has only been outside of the first round three times in his 25-fight career but, judging by the Twitter reaction to this knockout at least, that seems a formality.
The legend of Nikita Krylov grows tonight w/ that huge KO. Flush head kick sleeps Ed Herman. Nice way to lead in to #PPV. #UFC201
