Two years later, Conor McGregor's return to the UFC is less than 24 hours away. Last night he came face-to-face with his opponent, Khabib Nurmagomedov, for the final time before they step into the Octagon.
The ceremonial weigh-in took place after both men had made weight earlier in the day. Nurmagomedov stepped onto the scales to produce a bang-on 155 lb total. McGregor had half a pound to spare.
They later returned to the T-Mobile arena to stare down and had to be pulled apart after a tense affair. McGregor slapped down his foe's arms and the pair were separated. However, the Irishman did answer Khabib's beckoning hands by aiming one last kick towards his head.
