Lando Vannata moved to 9-1 in his MMA career with a KO win against John Makdessi on the UFC 206 prelim card on Saturday night.

It was a stunning KO from the American. Just over a minute and a half into the first round, Vannata landed a spinning heel kick on Makdessi. The 31-year-old immediately hit the canvas.
It was just Vannata's second fight in the UFC. His debut came during the summer against lightweight title contender Tony Ferguson, a fight which he lost via submission.
