Dana White and the UFC had most likely been sweating over the future of one of the most recognisable assets in recent times as the massively popular Joe Rogan had been publicly flirting with the idea of splitting from the organisation he has been working for since 1997.
Initially, Rogan said that he would leave the UFC if it was sold due to his close ties to Dana White and the Fertitta brothers, but presumably the decision to keep White in his current role was enough for him to reconsider that position.
On this week's episode of his staggeringly popular podcast, Rogan was talking to UFC featherweight Jeremy Stevens who asked the question that many had been wondering which prompted the UFC commentator to reveal his plans despite admitting he was not planning to make a statement.
It's entirely understandable.
Not only does Rogan have many more commitments that he needs to focus on, but the UFC have found a number of capable replacements as listed in the above clip.
But the good news is that we will still here Joe Rogan along with the bigger UFC events, and hopefully it works out for a few more years yet.
Joe Rogan was of course speaking on his own podcast and you can watch the episode with Jeremy Stevens in full below:
