Joe Rogan is very, very excited about a Russian Olympian currently competing in Rio who has already signed with the UFC.
Bilyal Makhov is a Russia wrestler competing in the men's freestyle 125kg wrestling, which kicks off on August 20th... What else is going down on August 20th? Yep, UFC 202.
Makhov signed with the UFC in September of last year but his debut has obviously been postponed due to his Olympic training. When he is done in Rio he will turn his attention to the UFC heavyweight division and, well, he's an absolute monster.

His coach has already said that he will be a UFC champion within six months of his debut, and while that is quite a startling statement to make, Joe Rogan has also been hyping him up via his outstanding Podcast. While hosting a fight companion along with Bryan Callen, Brendan Schaub, and Eddie Bravo last week, Rogan mentioned Makhov during a discussion on the UFC heavyweight division, and it's safe to say that Joe is expecting big things.
Everybodys fucked.
This dude is so good, he’s so technical and so fuckin' stupid-strong. His fuckin' takedowns are ruthless. He runs through guys!
Watch this motherfucker wrestle. He’s so fucking fast and so big and so strong, and when he gets to MMA, he’s running through motherfuckers. You are not stopping his takedown!
He’s just gonna be throwing dudes around, they’re not gonna know what that fuck to do.
Brendan Schaub was pretty excited too.
They then went on to watch clips of his striking which they admitted needed a lot of work, but there is a freak athlete coming to the heavyweight division soon with unstoppable takedowns.
Be afraid.
