Holly Holm is a really, really nice woman.
Most fans who have been following her career knew that to be true already, but anyone who didn't will have realised just how well she conducts herself having seen her most recent interview where she was asked a very tricky question about Ronda Rousey.
A journalist present at a media scrum asked Holm how she felt about Ronda claiming that she is still undefeated, which the former UFC champ has been claiming in recent interviews, and Holly gave a very classy answer while stressing that she knew she would be quoted and didn't want to cause any confusion.
They basically set her up for an absolute gimme in terms of dismissing Ronda's opinion, and she still refused and offered an alternate view.
Holm will defend her belt for the first time when she takes of Miesha Tate at UFC 196, which is utterly hilarious when you contrast how amicable those two fighters are, and will continue to be to each other, with the slurs and insults being thrown at each other by Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.
We're loving the verbal back and forth between the main event stars, as we always do when Conor is involved, but it's refreshing to hear someone like Holm who simply refuses to disrespect any of her opponents.
