Seven weeks out from UFC Belfast, the organisation has been putting Ireland's Icelandic import Gunnar Nelson through a rigorous pre-fight testing procedure...to find out how Irish he truly is.
The 28-year-old welterweight contender has been training in John Kavanagh's SGB alongside Crumlin's Conor McGregor for years now, and on occasion you can even hear a bit of 'Dub' creeping into his parlance, but he failed spectacularly when quizzed on all things Ireland.
And by all things Ireland, we mean questions about the Eurovision Song Contest, Westlife, Ronan Keating lyrics and St. Patrick. Although, to be honest, the one that hurt us most was Nelson's lack of knowledge when it came to League of Ireland football.
It's a highly entertaining, short video, and somehow - despite his patently not being Irish at all - you come out the other end loving The Ice Man even more.
He definitely knew 'Póg mo thóin' before he arrived in Ireland, as well. UFC Belfast takes place on November 19th, with Nelson headlining a more-than-decent card. And while he might not be Irish, he certainly adores his Irish fans.
