Well... That was unexpected!
The usually mild-mannered Gegard Mousasi who picks and chooses his verbal battles has decided to slam Conor McGregor over an incident that may or may not have included the Irishman.
Rumours have been surfacing ever since Mousasi expressed his disappointment at the water-bottle throwing incident that McGregor sent a private message to the Dutchman telling him where he could go. While some suggested it may have been an account that was designed to look like McGregor's, as the Dubliner rarely keeps his thoughts on other fighters private, but it didn't seem that way to Mousasi who hit back at McGregor while talking to Ariel Helwani.
Wow. OK then..
A response from McGregor is inevitable, but we'll likely have to wait until then to find out what was initially said. There's few things that make Ariel Helwani more excited than fighters beefing on his show, and this week's was a particularly good episode of The MMA Hour which you can watch in full below.
