Fans of ESPN's Around The Horn were treated to an absolutely gas Halloween special, where ESPN journalists donned costumes of various global icons.
Jim Harbaugh and Odell Beckham were represented, as were Adele and Melania Trump. Panelist Israel Gutierrez, however, whose baseball coverage has garnered no shortage of national attention since the late '00s, unveiled a remarkably detailed Conor McGregor costume - tattoos and all - leaving his colleagues in stitches as he butchered McGregor's Crumlin brogue.
The makeup and tattoo work are spectacular, and we probably can't blame Israel for failing to master the accent considering how many of our American friends have tried and failed before him. Take a look at the clip below:
He does get close with phrases like 'the game', but his impression ends up sounding a lot like the time Paul Rudd tried to impersonate Séamus Coleman's father after a stag do in Killybegs.
Still, it's a decent effort by Gutierrez, and we dread to think what McGregor's Dominican accent would sound like.
