If you didn't know who Darren Till was before the main event at UFC 118 in Gdansk, Poland, you damn sure will now.
The Liverpool man's 5th fight in the UFC was by far and away his biggest as he looked to protect his unbeaten record (3 wins and 1 draw) with the organisation against veteran Donald Cerrone.
Despite this being the first Top 10 ranked opponent Till has faced, he made light work of Cerrone as his boxing proved to be too much to handle, and after he followed up a number of shots with a nasty elbow in the final minute of the first round, the fight was over.
An emphatic performance form Till, statement made.
Speaking to Dan Hardy in the Octagon, Till expressed his belief that he is the best fighter in the world, before calling out 'Platinum' Mike Perry who was in attendance on the night.

Mike Perry just said he wants to fight Darren Till in his hometown of Liverpool following his fight with Santiago Ponzinibbio. Sign me up!

So if Perry is what is next for Till, then what is next for Cerrone?
This loss is his third in a row after defeats to Jorge Masvidal and Robbie Lawler, which makes it the worst skid of his career, and Cowboy could now find himself out of the rankings in the UFC welterweight division.
What a performance, and what a night for Darren Till.
