Things just got very interesting for Irish UFC fans after Dana White was asked about the possibility of a Croke Park event during a Q & A session in Australia.
Cathal Pendred alerted us to a video of an Irish MMA fan in Australia who used his question to Dana to ask for a heads up on the Croke Park welcoming party so that he could book his flights home in advance, and the response was by far the most defiant that the UFC president has been on the subject.
Having earlier suggested that the Garth Brooks fiasco showed how difficult it can be to arrange the Croke Park event, White claimed that if Conor McGregor defeats Jose Aldo, they WILL do Croke Park next:

That's a bold claim, hopefully he knows there's something in the pipeline to back-up his confidence.
As the recent UFC fight night proved, Irish MMA fans have outgrown the 3 Arena, and you would have to imagine that a Conor McGregor title defense in Croke Park would sell out in minutes.
Fingers crossed.
Thank to Cathal Pendred for sharing, and thanks to @Dazboyk for asking that question!
