As opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter, we saw Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber at each other's throats on a weekly basis, but as the series went on it was clear that these two had grown to appreciate each other.
By the end, and in the weeks and months since, it's clear that McGregor and Faber not only lost all feelings of animosity, but also became good friends, and that was made perfectly clear by their interaction before the UFC 196 weigh ins as seen on the latest UFC Embedded.
Faber was heading to the 'Unstoppable' press conference, and Conor was getting ready to weigh in, when they crossed paths in the hall:
You look good, brother.
-Thank you, brother.
Congratulations on the title shot.
-Thank you, thank you.
You almost got your ass whooped though!
-(Laughs) You almost got YOUR ass whooped!
McGregor referring to the UFC considering Faber to replace Dos Anjos before Diaz was chosen. Fantastic stuff.
If that wasn't enough, just look at the influence that Conor has had on Urijah's body language, as seen at the 'Unstoppable' press conference:
Bless.
