We say stole the show but really it was never going to be anything else. Whatever about the fighters actually competing, it's not too much of stretch to suggest that UFC are using this season of the Ultimate Fighter as yet another McGregor hyping opportunity.
Not that we're complaining of course. McGregor and Faber went head to head in a light hearted slagging match throughout the first episode and it was as entertaining as you'd have expected.
The series went to air on BT Sport 2 (part of the Setanta Sports pack for Irish fans) last night with a two-hour season premiere at 4am but if you didn't stay up then you can catch it again on BT Sports 2 at 10 p.m. tonight. Eleven one-hour shows will be broadcast on Thursdays at 10 p.m. on BT Sport 2 from now on.
