Fans may say he's fighting the good fight, fellow fighters may even agree but, at the end of the day, McGregor is not coming out of this in better than shape than when he went in and a lot of that is down to his own doing. At least that's the opinion of Fox Sport's Colin Cowherd
Speaking on The Herd on Fox Sports yesterday, Cowheard, launched into a typically forthright monologue about the Dubliner's tactical posturing over the past couple of weeks and it would be fair to say, he feels McGregor has bitten off a bit more than he can chew.
For anyone still claiming that McGregor is coming out of this in a positive position, Cowherd gives a rather blunt explanation of the real scenario, why the Dubliner made two huge tactical errors, and why he was swiftly punished by those with more power than he.
Millionaires don't get into whizzing matches against billionaires, you lose every single time.
He makes a good point.
