The UFC seem to be the leaders in promoting women's sport. The MMA promotion put Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes' title fight on as the headline for their milestone event, and they do a whole lot for equality in sport. And now, there is an openly gay champion.
Amanda Nunes submitted Miesha Tate to claim the women's bantamweight title that has changed hands four times in the last four title fights.

Nunes came out flying from the start, catching Tate with several big hits - despite Tate getting the first take down. Nunes was able to get her quickly, but it didn't take long for several hits in succession to cause a lot of blood to start seeping from Tate.
Nunes capitalised by launching herself at Tate, and thoroughly deserved her win by submission.
