Cathal Pendred took a battering from Tom Breese at UFC Fight Night Dublin.
Pendred was the first Irish fighter to step into the Octagon on Saturday night and lasted just 4:37.
With 23 seconds of the first round remaining, the referee called a halt to the fight following a barrage of punches being landed on Pendred by the Englishman.
The Dubliner may have suffered a broken nose in defeat.
Cathal Pendred's nose was seriously jacked up as he walked past press row. Tom Breese's handiwork looked like it hurt.

It was the impressive 24-year-old Breese's second win of his UFC career and leaves Pendred now 4-2 in the Octagon.
