Joseph Duffy recorded his second victory in the UFC on Saturday, beating Ivan Jorge in Glasgow.
The 27-year-old's first win in the promotion was back in March when he stopped Jake Lindsey after just 107 seconds with a perfect leg kick.
Duffy showed on Saturday that he's got versatility when it comes to methods of victory. After lighting Jorge up with some impressive standup, the Donegal man submitted the Brazilian (a black belt in BJJ) via a triangle choke just 3:05 into the first round.
Dana White tweeted after Duffy's debut win that he is 'legit', no doubt he was thinking the same last night.
Post-fight, the lightweight said that he would love to be on the card when the UFC returns to Dublin in October.
He would certainly be a big attraction, especially if the matchup was something as enticing as this suggestion.
And I love the idea of Duffy vs. Nate Diaz in Dublin. That would be a good headliner.
