It's hard enough for MMA to become a widely respected sport in Ireland without a few jinits giving the sport an unfair bad name on top of everything.
Irish fans obviously didn't get the result they wanted in the main event when Paddy Holohan tapped out to Louis Smolka but not everyone was as gracious in defeat as Paddy was.
Reports of fans throwing glasses and bottles at the cage left not only a bad taste in mouth but also left a couple of well behaved fans injured.
Empty seats, crowd thrown drinks into the octagon, poor fights. Highlights of the night Great win for ash daly and @NeilSeeryMMA! #UFCDublin

Great event except the few arseholes throwing bottles at the crowd. 2 people split open near the front. Absolute tools #UFCDublin

It's a shame the minority will grab the headlines when we should be celebrating another big night for the likes of Aisling Daly and Neil Seery and the performances of our athletes.
