Today the UFC announced that Conor McGregor will return to the Octagon for a blockbuster bout against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 on October 6 in Las Vegas and one man is certainly not happy about it.
Nate Diaz, who famously produced two thrilling fights with McGregor in 2016, was in attendance for the UFC 25th anniversary press conference. It was announced at the event that Diaz is set for a comeback against Dustin Poirier in the co-main event of UFC 230 at Madison Square Garden, November 3. However, as the show moved on and the McGregor vs Khabib promo aired, Nate Diaz stormed off stage and later tweeted he was not going to fight.
I’m not fighting on that show fuk the @ufc
