It's happening!
The highly-anticipated bout between Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov, which appeared to be in doubt after both fighters appeared on The MMA Hour to explain the hold up in confirmation, is now officially on as 'El Cucuy' took to twitter to confirm what we had all been waiting to hear.

Ferguson had made public his issue with the numbers being offered to him in terms of payment for the fight, which prompted Khabib to offer him $200,000, what it is believed the UFC offered Ferguson, to make the fight happen.
It is unclear whether or not that offer was indeed accepted, or whether or not the UFC actually offered more money, or simply if Ferguson had a change of heart and wants to just fight regardless, but it's going down at the third time of asking, and that's all that matters.
Furthermore, the confirmation that the fight will take place at UFC 209 on March 4th makes this news even better after Tyron Woodley vs Stephen Thompson II was confirmed as the main event for that card on Monday.

What a main and co-main event we have lined up for March, with more fights due to be announced it's hard to imagine it can get any better, but we're looking forward to seeing what else is on offer.
But regardless of what else is added, Woodley vs Thompson was one of the best fights of 2016, so here's hoping that the rematch can live up to the first bout, and coming right after such an intriguing clash between Ferguson and Nurmagomedov, UFC 209 is already sure to be a huge hit.
If everybody makes it to March 4th, please God.
