Jon Jones is out of UFC 200 after a potential doping violation was flagged just a matter of days before the showpiece event was due to take place. A press conference was held last night with all fighters, including Jones in attendance. However, a matter of hours later, another press conference was held at which Dana White confirmed the news that Jones was out of the event due to an undisclosed doping violation.
The timing of the announcement is sure to leave many scratching their heads as Jones' flagged test took place back in June but, whatever the circumstances, UFC 200 has lost it's main event and, understandably, Daniel Cormier was less than pleased.
It's been confirmed that the UFC are looking into the possibility of finding a short term replacement for Jones. That could see Cormier face Alexander Gustafsson or even middleweight champ Michael Bisping, but if it is to happen, it would no longer be the main event.
2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days...... Hmmm middle vs light heavy???? I stand by my words. I'd do it!

For those expecting to see Conor McGregor return to save the card at the 11th hour. It's not happening. Brock Lesnar vs Mark Hunt is now the new UFC 200 main event.
