UFC 223 takes place on the 7th of April in Brooklyn, New York with the main event of the card the mouthwatering bout between lightweights Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
In the run up to the event the UFC have posted a video of Tony Ferguson showing viewers his extremely unorthodox methods for preparing for the fight. Ferguson talks to camera about how he conditions his shins by kicking a '10,000 PSI, steel braided pipe':
"No blood", Ferguson really wants us to know what a hard shaw he really is. Fans have been surprised with Ferguson's scant disregard for his general safety and you would have to question the merit in kicking a steel pipe in the run up to the most important fight of your career:
Watch @TonyFergusonXT slam his shin against metal to train himself to break @TeamKhabib's arm. #UFC223 https://t.co/zmVp8Nkqct

This isn't the first time the American's training techniques have been called into question with the lightweights' approach to deadlifting weights becoming a running joke among MMA fans:
This display of toughness doesn't do much to curb Ferguson's mad bastard label but I suppose when your coming up against an opponent that wrestles bears you have to show them up somehow.
Ferguson's video is even more astonishing given the amount of times bouts between the two have been cancelled. This is the fourth time a fight between Ferguson and Nurmagomedov has been scheduled and if 'El Cucuy' keeps kicking steel pipes, it might have to be rescheduled again.
