UFC Bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw has "voluntarily relinquished" his title after US drug authorities have found things not all to be right with a drugs test the American handed in after his Flyweight title tilt with Henry Cejudo at UFC Fight Night 143.
The Denver born fighter announced the news via his Instagram account earlier this afternoon.
Dillashaw, who defeated Cody Garbrandt to claim the Bantamweight crown in 2017, made a successful defence of his title against Garbrandt in a rematch last August before focusing on the New Year scrap with Cejudo, which headlined the organisations premier show with new broadcaster ESPN.
Former Olympic free wrestling gold medallist Cejudo claimed Dillashaw's scalp inside 32 seconds at the Barclays Centre, after the referee intervened to protect the challenger from a barrage of the champion's punches.
