It's been a busy week in the world of UFC. Conor McGregor gets the date of his next fight, Brock Lesnar makes a spectacular return, and Ariel Helwani - the most respected MMA journalist in the world - was banned from UFC for life.
Oh, and UFC 199 happened.
So it's fair to say that another former WWE wrestler in the UFC - CM Punk - was a little more than an afterthought or punchline from the Brock Lesnar news. CM Punk signed with the UFC in December 2014, and has yet to get in the octagon.
His wait could finally be over, and it looks like he'll be part of McGregor's card at UFC 202. Jeremy Botter, managing editor of Flo Sports, broke the news - as he's done many times in the past, and couldn't resist a reference to Helwani's plight:
There are some huge cards coming up in the UFC if this news is soon. Now we just need to know when Rousey returns.
