We had a special instalment of the Embedded series over the weekend but now we're really here. Once the old-school 'behind the scenes' Embedded series gets going, that's when we really know it's fight week. Episode 1 of the vlog series was released early on Tuesday morning and Dana White must be listening to some criticism because we had to wait a full five minutes before Conor McGregor even makes an appearance.
First up we get to see a bit more of the much anticipated but slightly overlooked co-main event between Chris Weidman and Luke Rockhold. Then it's off to Brazil to take a look at Jose Aldo's training camp before we finally get to see McGregor and his training methods in full flow.
His 'master of movement' trainer, Ido Portal, is front and centre as we get to see inside McGregor's Vegas mansion. The main things we've learned is that Gunnar Nelson's punch is 10 times as strong as McGregor's according to a dodgy app and blowing out a candle with your fists is crucial MMA training.
We can imagine it now. Kids all over Ireland are about to started burning down Christmas tress trying to punch and kick candles. We can hear the outrage on the Joe Duffy Show already.
