It's fair to say that Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier simply don't like each other. You might go as far to say that they absolutely despise each other.
Fight fans and the media were almost treated to a sneak preview of the bout between McGregor and Poirier at UFC 178 when things became rather intense at the official UFC staredown.
A split-second before stepping towards his adversary for Saturday night to pose for the obligatory photographs, the Notorious removed his shades and gave Poirier his patented 100-yard stare. Seeing the whites of the Irishman's eyes for presumably the first time this week sparked a volatile reaction from Pea-head.
You ain't shit, boy. You ain't shit. Man, you ain't shit.
If it weren't for UFC president Dana White acting as a human barrier between the fiery-tempered duo, things could have easily turned sour. McGregor looked more than willing to start swinging right there on the stage.
Get your hand out of my face.
