Stipe Miocic clearly has a great sense of humour. The UFC fighter could be forgiven for sulking following his recent loss to Daniel Cormier. The American suffered a first round knockout to DC at UFC226, and after the bout Miocic stated that fighting would take a back seat as his wife was expecting their third child, and while that certainly remains the case, it didn't stop the 35-year-old from giving a nod to his sport on the day his child was born.
Miocic tweeted a vide0 of his new daughter, Meelah Claire Miocic, with audio of UFC commentator Bruce Buffer announcing the birth as if Meelah Claire was about to step into the octagon:
Ladies and gentlemen on this very special day, July 25th 2018, a very special baby was born at 1.50pm. Standing 21 inches tall, weighing in at 8 pounds 9 ounces. Presenting the future champion of the world Meelah Claire Miocic!

Brilliant.
Meanwhile there have been calls for Cormier to have a rematch with Miocic, with Joe Rogan believing that Miocic's dominance of the heavyweight division earns him the right to reclaim his title:
He should [get a rematch].People are thinking, the guy wins more UFC title defences than anybody on the history of the sport and becomes the most accomplished heavyweight of all time. Think about what he’s done. Think about the fact that he knocks out Fabricio Werdum to win the title, he knocks out Alistair Overeem to defend the title, he knocks out Junior dos Santos, beats Francis when everybody is terrified of Francis. He became the most accomplished heavyweight of all time. Then he gets knocked out by a crazy, perfect punch by Daniel Cormier in a perfect strategy.
