Dana White has confirmed UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey's next fight will be against undefeated American Holly Holm at UFC 195.
Holm is the number 9 ranked fighter in the division and has won all nine of her MMA contests, with six of the ending by knockout. The 33-year-olds last win came by unanimous against Marion Reneau in July at UFC Fight Night 71.
Rousey in also undefeated in her 12 fights and knocked out Bethe Correira 34 seconds into her last octagon win at UFC 190. Fans may be disappointed with the fight, while a fight against Cris Cyborg was unlikely, many expected a rematch with Miesha Tate, who remains the only fighter to make it past the first round against Rousey.
A Dana White tweet confirmed the headline fight for UFC 195, which will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on January 2nd.
