News emerged early this morning that a welterweight bout featuring 'Ruthless' Robbie Lawler and Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone had been added to UFC 213, which takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 8th.
This will be Lawler's first fight back in the UFC since losing his title to Tyron Woodley.

With Robbie Lawler looking to bounce back after a beating from Woodley, and Cowboy looking to return to winning ways after being finished by Jorge Masvidal in January, both men will be desperate to get the win and keep their name high up in the rankings for one of the most exciting divisions in MMA.
While this is a fight that would stand out on any PPV card, the UFC are expected to go big for 213 and we can expect another bumper night of fights with announcements that are still to come.
As news broke last night MMA fans from all over the world reacted to the prospect of seeing these two entertaining fighters throw down, but it's clear that Robbie Lawler is the favourite, largely down to his experience in the division while Cerrone has moved up from lightweight in recent times.
But nothing is certain in MMA and it remains to be seen what toll was taken on Lawler with the Woodley KO coming on the back of two absolute wars with Rory MacDonald and Carlos Condit.
It's an exciting fight, and there could be more good news coming.
