It seems we may not have to wait until 2016 to see the huge Jose Aldo v Conor McGregor fight with Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports reporting that it will happen on 5 December in the Dallas Cowboys' 105,000 capacity stadium.
And it's all because of Andrea Bocelli.
A Bocelli concert in the MGM Grand Garden in Vegas on 5 December means the UFC have to find another venue for UFC194. So the obvious thing would be to move to a place that is six times the size ... Apparently.
Looking VERY likely that Aldo-McGregor fight will wind up in Cowboys Stadium. Pretty incredible

Obvious no one is quite sure how many people the Cowboys' stadium can hold when it's altered for an MMA event but if you take the Manny Pacquiao vs. Joshua Clottey fight from 2013 as an example then you could expect a crowd of 40,000 at the very least.
Dana had said last week that the UFC would be open to going to the AT&T Stadium if they had the right fight and now Yahoo report that, should Aldo heal in time, 'It's not a done deal, but it is looking like the UFC has the major bout it needed to land in the Dallas Cowboys' home.'
It's good but it's still no Croker.
