It's a fight which was supposed to headline UFC Dublin 10 weeks ago.
A concussion sustained during sparring meant the biggest fight of Joseph Duffy's career so far, against Dustin Poirier, would be postponed.
Now, instead of headlining a Fight Night, Duffy vs Poirier will top the bill for the 'Fight Pass' prelims at UFC 195 on January 2nd.
Despite the downgrade, it's no doubt a fight which Duffy will be taking incredibly seriously.
After his loss to Conor McGregor in September 2014, Poirier made the move to lightweight and is currently on a two-fight win steak at 155.
This will be Duffy's third fight in the UFC. Previously, he produced impressive performances with stoppages of Ivan Jorge and Jake Lindsey.
