Paul Redmond has been cut by the UFC. The Dubliner fought just twice for the promotion.

Redmond made his UFC debut in January when taking a fight against at two weeks' notice against Mirsad Bektic.

Normally a lightweight, Redmond unsuccessfully attempted to make the cut to featherweight, weighing in three pounds over the limit. He would forfeit part of his purse as a result and also lose the fight by unanimous decision.
