'Leaving it all in the cage' is a phrase Paddy Pimblett is perhaps taking a little too literally.
Paddy Pimblett is one of the true characters of MMA. Ariel Helwani is just one of the people Pimblett can count amongst his fans, and the charismatic Scouser proved tonight that his talent more than matches his eccentric charm with an excellent performance in defending his Cage Warriors title.
But the fight will perhaps be remembered more for its aftermath than anything else after Pimblett threw up all over the cage floor.
Ironically, Pimblett was in the process of complaining about the rigours of making weight when the unpleasant (but hilarious) spectacle occurred.
Our favourite bit is the crowd's reaction, right on cue. 'Whayyy!'
