Conor McGregor's Instagram profile has gone into overdrive in recent days. While there's nothing new in that, the extent to which he's been letting his fans know what he's up to can only mean that he's making sure the point hits home with Rafael dos Anjos and the rest of the lightweight division. He's anything but a featherweight trying to mix it with the big boys.
Yesterday, we took a look at what appeared to be a rather incredible bulking effort in a very short space of time. Particularly in comparison to his scale tipping 145lb frame, McGregor's ability to climb up to what you'd have to think is now well above 170lb, is impressive to say the least.
He's in California with his training partner Peter Queally and the pair have been letting everyone know just how much work goes into a training camp. Queally is a Waterford fighter who has moved between welterweight and lightweight meaning he should act as the perfect counterpoint to the conceivably bigger challenge that McGregor will face against Dos Anjos on March 5th.
Judging by the recent pictures and videos coming out of the training camp however, it would appear that's not going to be too much of a problem.
Core strength certainly isn't going to be a problem. (Continued below)

And as if to hammer home the point, the added mass on his upper body is clear for all to see beside Queally who's training for a welterweight fight against Nathan Jones at BAMMA 24 on February 27th.
