Well, what a rollercoaster ride that was. It was more on-again off-again than Ross and Rachel in Friends - but now it seems that Nate Diaz has finally closed the book on a potential Conor McGregor re-match actually happening at UFC 200.
To recap, first McGregor decided he had enough with the promotion of the fight and UFC pulled him. Then the Dubliner said, he's back - which Dana White refuted.
But now his opponent has thrown in the towel on whether that fight will happen or not.
Happy to announce that I'm going on vacation #gone #100 ✌🏼️

Diaz was definitive in the press conference last Friday - the one that caused the whole mess - that he wouldn't be interested in fighting anyone other than McGregor on the card. Now it looks like he won't.
Is that the end of this whole mess?
