November was set to be an absolutely outstanding month of UFC action, with UFC 205 and McGregor vs Alvarez the highlight of a month packed with no fewer than four highly anticipated events.
Sadly, news has broken this evening that the Luke Rockhold has been forced to withdraw from his fight, a rematch with Jacare Souza which was billed as the main event of UFC Melbourne on November 27th, through injury.
This news comes on the back of Gunnar Nelson being forced to withdraw from the main event of UFC Belfast, on November 12th, and is something that no MMA fan will have wanted to see.

The UFC are at this time not looking for a new opponent for Jacare, which suggests a fight currently on the card will be promoted to the main event, as well as the possibility of another fight being added to the card.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani, Souza's manager made it perfectly clear who they wish to fight next.
Michael Bisping is running from 'Jacare'. He is so scared of him. He'd rather fight someone like Dominick Cruz, who I would put my money on, by the way.
We'll wait and see if that fight does indeed happen, but for now we're just disappointed that Rockhold is out injured, and that the MMA Gods appear to be targeting November events. We'll say no more due to fear of jinxing any other potential fight cards.
