It's on. Unless something serious happens between now and July 11th, UFC 189 will see Conor McGregor face Jose Aldo in Las Vegas. The MMA world was on tenterhooks waiting for the all important statement from the UFC and when it came, it was good news.
The Brazilian hadn't broke a rib. Instead there was some bruising and cartilage damage. Aldo will fight through the pain and, as things stand, he'll be in the Octagon on July 11th.
While we were all celebrating the news, Conor McGregor was crafting the perfect response and we can only assume he agonised over this one for hours.
It turned out he just had a little period pain.

Ain't periods just hilarious. Not exactly his wittiest retort but nonetheless that's what he went with. In reality, it hardly matters, anticipation is about as high as it could possibly get now and no amount of period jokes could affect that one way or the other.
