One of the things that emerged from UFC 189, was Chad Mendes revealing that Conor McGregor never shut up during their fight. Mendes described it as McGregor 'whispering sweet nothings' into his ear, as McGregor had fun in trying to get into the American's head.
One benefit of fighting Mendes is that he speaks English, and therefore understands what McGregor is saying.
But McGregor's next opponent- Jose Aldo - is Brazilian, and has very little English. Which lead to this fan question at last night's UFC Go Big event - with the question being asked - Will McGregor learn Portuguese to whisper sweet nothings into Aldo's ear?
It doesn't take much for McGregor to take a shot at Aldo, but you'd have to wonder about that accent from the guy claiming he's from Sandymount in Dublin.
