Late on Sunday, Conor McGregor and Cristiano Ronaldo both shared images of the two meeting at the Irish fighter's gym in Las Vegas.
McGregor is in the US to prep for his UFC 202 rematch against Nate Diaz. Ronaldo was over relaxing post-Euro 2016 and before the new season with Real Madrid.

In a meeting which was nowhere as near awkward as you would have feared, the two talked about what you presume many wealthy athletes talk about - jets and where they came on the Forbes Highest-Paid Athletes list.
On that list Ronaldo came in at number one, McGregor at 85 - not the number 35 which he mentions to the Portuguese.
