Security at Madison Square Garden had to keep Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov apart backstage at last night's UFC 205 ceremonial weigh-ins.
In a video released by McGregor's own website, The Mac Life, the confrontation ends when Nurmagomedov's team eventually convinces him to move on.
Nurmagomedov is one of many lightweight fighters who feels McGregor has jumped to queue in getting a 155lb title shot.
On Saturday night, the Russian - ranked second in the lightweight division - faces Michael Johnson on the prelim card while McGregor headlines against current 155lb champion Eddie Alvarez.
'We'll see', Nurmagomedov replies as he's dragged away. Should McGregor win, a fight against the undefeated 28-year-old could well be his first defence.
McGregor appeared to want to take on everyone last night.
After a tense moment between the Irishman and Tyron Woodley at the official weigh-in earlier in the day and then some exchanges on Twitter, McGregor again had words with welterweight champion.
