Aldo vs Mendes 2 at UFC 179 last October was one of the fights of 2014. It was actually listed at number two in the UFC's own rankings, just behind Johny Henricks vs Robbie Lawler.
The UFC had a camera on Conor McGregor, sitting ringside, during the fight and he certainly got animated, on one occasion demanding Jose Aldo put pressure on Chad Mendes rather than look to the referee following a low blow.

It also showcases what seems to be a more genuine McGregor, a man who is at his core a fight fan.
At the final bell, Conor declares his respect for both fighters.
