Conor McGregor defeated Nate Diaz by majority decision - 48-47, 47-47, 48-47 - in their rematch at UFC 202.
It was a real war. McGregor dominated the opening eight minutes or so of the fight. Then the American started to gain a foothold, turning it into a classic.
"Surprise, surprise, motherfuckers. The king is back," McGregor declared in the post-fight interview with Joe Rogan.
He also called for a third fight with Diaz, this time at lightweight.
All I know it's 1-1. Regroup, I will do it again - this time a 155lbs. I came up to 170 and faced the bigger man, overcame adversity. Now we want this trilogy on my terms. Come back down to 155 and we'll do it.
