UFC 189 saw Conor McGregor beat Chad Mendes to become the Interim Featherweight Champion and in a brutal Fight or the Year contender, Robbie Lawlor retained his Welterweight title by the skin of his teeth (or literally his lip) with a 5th round TKO of Rory MacDonald.

Unsurprisingly MacDonald has the longest medical suspension and he could be sidelined until January 2016. The report states that he must have a broken nose and right foot cleared by a UFC doctor to return on January 11th of next year, with a minimum suspension until September 10th and no contact until August 26th.
Robbie Lawlor has been suspended until August 26th with no contact allowed before August 11th to allow his lip laceration to heal.
Conor McGregor received the same suspension as Lawlor for the gash above his right eyebrow.
Chad Mendes could also have a potentially long layoff as he must have his right thumb X-rayed and cleared by a doctor or else he will be suspended until January 11th. His minimum suspension lasts until August 2nd with no contact before July 28th.
Dubliner Neil Seery received an left eye laceration in his loss to Louis Smolka and will be suspended until August 26th with no contact until August 11th.
Conor McGregor's SBG teammates Gunnar Nelson and Cathal Pendred did not receive suspensions.
