Ireland’s Joseph Duffy is set for a return to the Octagon this March for UFC London. The 30-year-old will reportedly fight Marc Diakiese.
Duffy has not fought since November 2017 when he lost against James Vick via TKO at UFC 217. He was due to return in December 2018 at UFC Fight Night 142 but was unable to take part due to a rib injury.
Newsome MMA initially reported that negotiations were in the works for Duffy to face Diakiese on the St. Patrick's day weekend. The card is headlined with the welterweight showdown of Darren Till vs. Jorge Masvidal and will be live on ESPN+.
Now, MMA journalist Niall McGrath has confirmed that the bout is set to take place and both fighters have signed an agreement.

25-year-old Diakiese is also looking for a bounce-back victory after losing to Nasrat Haqparast via unanimous decision last July.
