Donegal's Joseph Duffy will see the first fight on his new seven-fight contract with the UFC take place at Madison Square Garden after his opponent was confirmed early on Monday morning.
When we last saw Duffy in the octagon he dispatched of Reza Madadi back in March, and he will look to make it three UFC wins on the bounce against James Vick on Saturday, November 4th at UFC 217.
Vick was a semifinalist on season 15 of The Ultimate Fighter and will also be looking to make it three wins in a row after bouncing back from his only professional loss to Brian Dariush back at UFC 199.

This is an absolutely beautiful matchup, with Duffy (16-2) and Vick (11-1) knowing that they can climb their way up the UFC lightweight rankings with a win.
Furthermore, it's a great stage for either fighter to make a statement UFC 217 will be one of the most watched events of the year thanks to fights like Michael Bisping vs Georges St-Pierre, Cody Garbrandt vs TJ Dillashaw, Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs Rose Namajunas, Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson vs Jorge Masvidal and more making for a truly stacked card.
Madison Square Garden is waiting, roll on November 4th!
