Even though Jose Aldo didn't watch UFC 189, he's still seen the new Reebok "fight kit" that the UFC is making their fighters wear as part of an exclusive deal with the sportswear company.
The big unveiling that Reebok hosted last month was met with a lot of criticism from fighters and fans alike, although we saw on the UFC 189 Embedded series that Conor McGregor is on board, due to a number of spelling mistakes and the very boring uniform that all fighters must now wear.
UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo has given his verdict on the fight kit, and in fairness to him it's just brilliant.
It sucks, but what can we do? We know it's a private company, everybody has their contracts. I don't think it looks good, everyone has their own style. I can't do anything about it, just talk. We have to accept. We are the Power Rangers.
The Power Rangers?
Good shout Jose.
They certainly do look like Power Rangers in civilian clothes, but Conor doesn't mind as long as those cheques keep coming in.
