If you've been keeping up with the highly enjoyable UFC Embedded series for UFC 194, then you would have noticed Jose Aldo's wife, Viviane Perreira, attempting to give her own take on all the talking that has preceded this fight by suggesting that the Irishman has "lost his mind".
Speaking on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Conor McGregor's coach John Kavanagh was presented with those quotes, and rather than brush them off like he may have been expected to, he actually agreed with them.
That's actually true. He has lost his mind. He would openly admit that. When he's going in there, it's not sports. It's not like, 'Oh, I did my best.' He's going to the death.
I genuinely am looking forward to this one as a fan, because I just get to sit in the corner and be quiet and watch. I'm really looking forward to it. Things have changed, even in the last few weeks I've noted some changes in Conor. People are gonna be very surprised in this fight. There's lot that's gonna be happening. I'm looking forward to it.
There you have it, he's a madman, and be ready for a surprise at UFC 194.
We've seen Conor playing it unusually cool at the pre-fight press conference, and then having a go at some Brazilian fans after the weigh-ins, but soon he will get his chance to finally take on Jose Also and attempt to unify the UFC flyweight championship belt.
