Conor McGregor along with others who will feature on the UFC 205 card - the promotion's debut event at Madison Square Garden - were presented to the media on Tuesday night.
It was a press conference short on interest. Questions from the floor were mostly disappointing.
One which did spark a reaction was McGregor being asked of all the fighters attending the press conference, who would be the toughest opponent for him.
Before McGregor could reply, featherweight Jeremy Stephens interjected to name himself.
A quizzical-looking McGregor glanced around to find out who was speaking before offering a response: 'Who the fuck is that guy?'
On ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night, the host felt McGregor's line required highlighting. Part of his reason for showing the clip was due to the current US presidential race: 'The way things are going, I feel like we're only one or two elections away from having our next president coming from the UFC'. He also said that the clip shows why MMA is currently so much more popular than boxing.
