Peter Queally is set to join MMA promotion company Bellator. Queally who is a frequent training partner of Conor McGregor in SB gym in Ireland, has, according to Pete Carroll of MMA Fighting inked a deal with UFC's biggest rival.
Queally recently defeated David Khachatryan back in May with Russian MMA promotion Fight Nights Global, securing the first KO of his professional career with a first round stoppage.
Queally will be joining fellow countryman Paul Redmond on the lightweight roster as the 32-year-old, with James Gallagher, Sinead Kavanagh, Charlie Ward, Kiefer Crosbie, Will Fleur other Irish fighters signed with Scott Coker's company.
MMA Fighting also confirmed that Northern Ireland's Leah McCourt (1-1-0) is also joining Bellator, the featherweight turned professional last year having competed in the the 2016 IMMAF world championship and the 2015 IMMAF European championships.
