Rafael Dos Anjos' Pissed Off Response Will Be Music To Conor McGregor's Ears

At the start of the UFC 197 press conference that took place on Wednesday night, it looked as though it was going to be difficult for Conor McGregor to coax Rafael Dos Anjos into the mental warfare that has seen the Irishman wind his opponents up to their detriment in nearly all of his UFC fights, as the Brazilian calmly allowed McGregor to interrupt him with little emotion on show.

We slowly saw Dos Anjos grow more and more agitated, and sure enough he quickly began to offer a suggestion that McGregor had gotten under his skin as he began to offer a comeback to a number of his bold claims, but it's quite clear that Dos Anjos is properly pissed off judging by his latest comments.

RDA has called Conor a "classless low-life" in a recent interview, and has claimed that he will talk louder on March 5th, which McGregor will no doubt be delighted to hear.

The guy thinks just because he is dressed nice and drives nice cars that he has class, but he's classless, he's a low-life.

I knew he was going to talk over me and take my place, that's his style. But I'm going to talk louder on 5 March. I knew he was going to try to use all his weapons to make me get mad but I kept calm. He has no respect, he doesn't know the word, it doesn't exist for him.

He's going to get worse, he's going to do everything to promote himself, do everything for money. I think Conor is just one more guy that I'm going to put my hands on and I'm going to be victorious for sure.

Conor will no doubt have something to say about that, but we're hoping it's got more to it than his suggestion that Dos Anjos is a traitor for leaving Brazil to train. The idea that Brazilians hate Rafael Dos Anjos is simply not true, and while McGregor claimed that Dos Anjos' sons are called Bob and Donald, in reality their names are Gustavo and Rafael Jr., two very Brazilian names.

Still, it will be highly entertaining to watch the mental warfare unfold ahead of UFC 197, and of course the fight should be something spectacular too.
